NFL WILDCARD PLAYOFFS!

This weekend sees the start of the Post Season Playoffs on the Road to Superbowl XLVII (47) With the Wildcard Playoffs. As they are all interesting match ups this weekend as in the

CINCINNATI BENGALS                 @   HOUSTON TEXANS 

AFC Division it will pit the 6th Seeded Cincinnati Bengals traveling down south against the 3rd Seed Houston Texans in a Rematch from last year Wildcard Playoffs as the Texans came out on top that occassion winning 31-10. But this is a stronger Bengals side than last year, And if Dalton the Quarterback can get his and the Bengals offense going quickly then this is interesting match indeed.

As also Houston come into this game on the back of 2 straight defeats against the Indianapolis Colts and a Big Home Loss to the Minnesota Viking 23-6 in Week 16.

The Bengals however have had tougher final few games, After losing their way against the Dallas Cowboy when 19-10 up on the road, to the then lose 20-19 hurt them ,But since then they have beat the Lowly Philadephia Eagle 34-13 at Phillie. Beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field 13-10 to end the hope of the Steelers Playoff dreams and then last week beat the Baltimore Ravens 23-17 at home.


PREDICTION:  BENGALS by 6

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS       @     BALTIMORE RAVENS

The other AFC Divisional game is played at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore. Where it`s a Whats a different a year makes if your a Colts fan. As they were 2-14 last year as they struggled without Peyton Manning and not having a decent Quarterback cost them dearly, this year though
11-5 is a good start for a Rookie QB in his first season.

Colts last few games have been Wins in Detroit, Kansas City and then the split series against Houston.
So the Colts look good going into this ball game. Especially as Andrew Luck is better than Joe Flacco in every stat between the 2 sides.


The RAVENS don`t have much good form heading into this clash with the Colts, having only beat the Superbowl Champions NY Giants in the last 5 games as the Steelers, Redskins, Broncos and Bengals have all disposed of the Tough and Rough Baltimore Ravens and lot will depend on how Ray Lewis in his final season and Joe Flacco handle the occasion. As if them 2 don`t fire then Colts could be easy winners.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS    @  WASHINGTON REDSKINS



NFC WISE :

 The Seattle Seahawks are enjoying their most productive ending to a season for a couple of years especially as they have run up some high score too in the last 5 games. They beat Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in OT 23-17 and since then had scores of 58-0, 50-17 and 42- 13 against Arizona Buffalo and noticeable the 42-13 win against the San Francisco 49ers.

As Matt Flynn has had a great season for the Seahawks. Posting a Season record of 11-5, a couple of blips of the course of the season but they no means the favourite in the match on Sunday.



Washington  Redskins with their new Rookie Quarterback RG3( Robert Griffin III) have been a side in transition as their whole side are a team thats built for the future. As Mike Shanahan has done a great job with this young football side, and though they had  rough middle of season losing 3 on the bounce the Bye week helped and string 7 games Unbeaten since. Beating the Eagles, Cowboys, and Browns all away from home and the key game for them was the Raven game when RG 3 got injured and with seconds left they used Back up QB Cousins to threw a TD at the end of the game to set up OT and then win with a Field goal , when they looked dead and buried.

PREDICTION:   REDSKINS BY     7

MINNESOTA  VIKINGS       @      GREEN BAY PACKERS 

 The final game is a repeat of  WEEK 16 clash Minnesota Vikings v Green Bay Packers.  The Vikes have had a kind of stop start season as they have a great win then tend to throw it away the week after. But their important victories v Chicago at home and away is what got them to the playoff along with star player ,Adrian Peterson who loves playing the Cheese head and can expect him to be put them to the sword again if he is up for it.

The Packers well, last year fell apart, went Undefeated till playoff time when the New York Giants beat them in Wisconsin to not only deny them the chance of going undefeated by all rob them of their Superbowl crown  too.

But Aaron Rodgers has thrown 39 TD this year and will always be a danger for the opposition in any shape or form.  This game could come down to which gets stopped the most the Quarterback plays of Rodgers or the Running game of Peterson. Though the Vikes have won the 2 games against them this season. it will be close.

PREDICTION: Packers to edge it 3 maybe.
