Khan victorious in Comeback fight

KHAN OUTCLASSES MOLINA IN L.A

Amir Khan simply Dismantled his Unbeaten opponent in the Early hours of Sunday morning as he gave him a Boxing lesson from Opening bell to the the Finish. It was first fight back in the Ring after getting Knocked out by Danny Garcia earlier in the year in Vegas. This time though a couple things were different, he had a New trainer in Virgil Hunter who is the trainer of King of the Middleweights Andre Ward.

Khan came out of the the blocks very quickly at the Opening Bell, He was desperate to put on a good show in his Comeback fight against the Hometown fighter in Molina. And he started off the fight great, with fast Stinging Jabs and Combos that Molina was struggling to cope with from the quickness of the Bolton native.

And his good work had opened up a cut on the left side of Molina above the eye and as the Round went on blood trickled down his face and was smeared on his cheek, such was the laceration from the shots finding their mark on the target.  Khan seemed to control his shots as he seemed to settle into the fight in only the 1st Round !
2nd Round Khan carried on the offence as he threw some fantastic shots to Molina who no one gave much chance to before the fight, and the work Khan was doing was showing why the Pre-Fight predictions were ringing true. He spent the the 2nd round going to the body more with some doubling up with Body shots and then hooks to the head. But if thoughts that this would an easy fight and he`d just have his way with Carlos Molina.

Then during the round he caught the British Fighter with a Right Hook that seemed to hurt him, and the questions of wether he had eradicated the Giddiness from his style shown it was still there. And Molina had a glimmer of light that he could do something if he could connect and if Khan made mistakes, as he started throwing the leather and catching a few times. But he himself was taking the punches dished out by Amir Khan.
3rd Round Khan was still getting caught by by Molina, but luckily for him the punches didn`t have much Substance to them, compared to a Power puncher like Danny Garcia who he fought last time out and Lost to. But he equally gave the better punches and when his opponent swung a big punch and went whizzing by Khan ear, he used his quickness and was sharp enough to duck and land a solid hook of his own .

There was a point when Molina had Khan on the ropes, but he never took advantage of the situation and Khan himself was the better of the 2 in that exchange as he showed he could fight off the ropes as he weaved and swayed from the punches thrown at him and got out of the corner and gave a few decent shots at his opponent.
The cut was starting to open up and cause a bit of bother as the round drawn to a close, and Khan was in Control but still had the odd Defensive lapses now and then.
Khan was throwing the most Accurate and precise punches and in the process not only reopened Molina cut he had but was bruising around it too, as he he was just far too quick for him. He was like a blur when he threw he was that quick.  Khan at point thought he may have had him when he gave a good body shot that put him on the ropes and did combination on him. But Molina toughed it out and had a bit of respite as evaded the corner but Khan caught him with a sweet Uppercut as he was putting his head down .

And this almost led to Molina getting what he wanted and to said before the fight, when he mentioned he wanted to draw him into a Tear-up and a War. As Khan hasn`t got the best Chin and Molina knew that, so if it was a Toe- to Toe battle in the ring. He would be favorite on that side as thats how the Mexican fighter like to fight.
Coming to the 5th Round Khan was more Clinical in the fight and he was Thinking alot more than he has in any fight previous. They traded off a flurry of punches for a few seconds as Khan was caught and He returned the compliment. The Bolton fighter was very controlled and was picking and choosing his punches and not just punching for punch sake. Hunter was shouting non- stop throughout the fight with instructions and Khan listened or.. had no choice in the matter.

6th Round, Khan was still doubling up with great combos and was getting through easily to his target. Molina  had flashes of what he could do,but Khan always snuffed his attempts.  The Cut was getting worse by Round 7 and Khan just zeroed in on it, picking his punches carefully. And the Fast hands of Amir Khan was cutting..(no pun intended) his opponents to shreds and he had no answer whatsoever to his tactics.
Round 8 was taking alot of Punishment from Khan and he was hit so much, but due to the boxing ability from the Former Silver Olympic medalist than from the Cut he had. It was like watching a a Novice take on the a Seasoned Pro the round. As Khan just boxed better than i`ve ever seen box before. Combo after combo untouched and Molina as he sat at the the end of round seem to slump and have an air of Resignation about he knew he`d lost.

Then before the 9th Round, the Referee called the Doctor over to check on the cut Molina had sustained, but did it as they were working on the cut and should have waited till the bell had gone to do the check as it cost them time to try and get work done on it.
Molina produced a very Brave, effort in the fight and was now struggling as blood was running down as Khan picked holes at him and he was wearing a "Crimson Mask". After the round the ref went up to the Molina Corner and asked "Whats going on?" checking to see what they were going to do. As he was Clearly  in a bad way as his cut was bad and the corner told the Ref "1 more round!".

So we entered the 10th Round of 12, And all Credit to Carlos Molina,  he gave a GREAT Battling effort for the 10 Rounds. Molina threw the punches but not many landed cleanly compared to the Khan. And the Ref stopped the Fight as the bell rang to finish the 10th Round and he`d seen enough.   So Khan Comeback fight ended in Victory at the LA Sport Arena.
